Hello

I'm Mackenzie!

I’ve always seen the world as a web of possibilities. Ideas branch out in every direction, and I can’t help but follow them—questioning, noticing details others might miss, and exploring the paths they open. Divergent thinking is where I thrive: I explore boldly, uncover unexpected connections, and turn them into solutions that are purposeful, accessible, and memorable.

Design isn’t just a job—it’s a passion. It energizes me to know my work can make a real difference, and I’m not afraid to think boldly to achieve that. I love taking complexity and making it feel simple and intuitive. Storytelling guides my process, helping me create experiences that resonate with people and leave a lasting impression. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors. I live in the woods—quite literally—and when I’m not designing, I’m photographing the wilderness, snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking, and exploring nature year-round. I’m also a lifelong animal lover, and I cherish time with friends and family.

Growing up with parents who were professional sled dog racers, I spent years raising and training sled dogs and traveling throughout the Rocky Mountains. Those experiences shaped my deep respect for the wilderness and the importance of preserving it. That connection to nature influences how I approach design—grounded in lived experience, empathy, and a genuine appreciation for the world around us. I’m drawn to projects that encourage people to explore, cherish, and protect the environment, and I bring that same care and curiosity to every solution I create.
